The Era of Darkness has begun.
On one of Jupiter’s Moons, Europa, a new Fallen faction has risen named House Salvation, and could endanger the entire solar system if it spreads too far. It is led by Eramis, a Fallen elite that learned how to wield and use the power of The Darkness. She now plans to build her dark empire and eliminate as many Eliksni and guardians as she can with it.
Variks has brought you to Europa to stop her. You will need to gather your new arsenal of weapons and armor, harness the power of Stasis, and find a way to take down Eramis.
What You Get
This campaign is the next step to making your guardian a complete powerhouse. Upon completion, you gain access to Stasis, a new subclass based around ice powers. Depending on how you use it, you can slow, shatter and freeze enemies in PvE and PvP to your heart’s content. The supers that come with it have proven to work very well in the crucible and are overall incredibly fun to mess around with.
Along the way, you will obtain Beyond Light’s new set of Europa weapons and armor. These include a new rocket launcher, pulse rifle, and shotgun with more being readily available after completion of the campaign.
As per each DLC, there is a new soft, hard, and pinnacle power cap. The soft cap for this season is 1200, and it’s highly likely you will obtain that before the campaign is over.

Finally, there is a whole new set of quests that shows up after the completion of the campaign. The “Born in Darkness” quest allows you to upgrade your stasis subclass by giving you new grenades and abilities, the “Empire’s Fall” quest gives you access to Empire Hunts and the final quest allows you to chase after the “Salvation’s Grip” exotic grenade launcher.
