The Euphony Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle is a standout weapon from the Salvation’s Edge raid in Destiny 2’s The Final Shape expansion. This special-ammo weapon is unique for its burst-fire capability and its Strand-Elemental damage, making it the only primary slot linear fusion rifle with these features.
Exotic Traits of Euphony:
- Unwound Intrinsic: Sustained damage with this weapon spawns Threadlings at your target’s location.
- Spindle: Damage caused by Threadlings provides a stacking buff that increases Euphony’s weapon damage.
To obtain the Euphony, players must defeat The Witness, the final boss of the Salvation’s Edge raid. While the base drop rate is estimated to be around 5%, completing specific triumphs can increase your chances of earning this exotic weapon.
The Euphony is particularly effective against Majors, Ultras, and bosses, and when paired with a Strand Subclass build, it can significantly increase the damage from Threadlings and the Spindle buff. Although it may not outperform past Raid Exotics like Conditional Finality or Divinity in PvP, Euphony’s unique traits make it a powerful choice for sustained DPS in PvE scenarios
